Code of Conduct

Rockford.dev is dedicated to providing a welcoming, harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of experience level, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, age, or religion.

Expected behavior

Be kind. Be patient with people at every experience level. Critique ideas, not people. Respect the venue and the people hosting us.

Unacceptable behavior

Harassment of any kind, demeaning or discriminatory comments, sustained disruption of talks, and unwelcome attention are not tolerated. Anyone asked to stop any behavior is expected to comply immediately.

Reporting

If you experience or witness a violation, find an organizer at the event or email the organizers. Reports are handled discreetly. Organizers may warn or remove anyone who violates this code, at their discretion, without a refund (meetups are free, so that part is easy).
